Mobile phone apps to aid Parkinson’s patients

Mobile phone applications may help Parkinson’s sufferers to regain their confidence communicating, according to research at the University of Portsmouth.Dr Eglin, from the university’s Department of Creative Technologies, has been awarded a £35,000 innovation grant from leading research charity Parkinson’s UK to develop the apps, which will work as speech therapy tools.
